Abstract

Huayno, being the most important genre of Peruvian culture, invites us to write these lines of analysis about its rhythm, in order to better understand it in its musical and compositional context. It is important to mention that huayno is in force in our society and increasingly with greater force, reinventing itself and merging with other genres. The huayno has new composers, new interpreters and new spaces.
